Mexico's participation in the WTO and its impact on international trade

Abstract

This paper analyzes Mexico’s participation in the World to the country's economy the problem to the country's economy the problem the Tarade Organization (WTO) since joining in 1995, and how this involvement has influenced international trade. It explains what the WTO is, the rules it sets, and how Mexico has adapted its laws and policies to comply. It also reviews some treaties and agreements Mexico has signed thanks to its WTO membership, and how this has affected exports, imports, and Mexican companies. The goal is to understand whether being part of the WTO has been beneficial for Mexico and what challenges it has faced. Real example, such as trade disputes and changes in Mexico laws, are used to show the impact. In conclusion, while there are clear benefits, Mexico still faces changes to make the most of its position in global trade.
