Instructions for Authors

Sage Sphere Multidisciplinary Studies (SSMS) accepts various types of articles such as research, original reports, and literature reviews that cover everything from basic concepts to practical applications in the field of education. To be considered, the manuscript must align with the journal's aims and scope.

The editor will conduct a preliminary review of the manuscript to assess its suitability for the journal’s focus, the quality of the language, the clarity of the figures, and detect potential plagiarism cases.

Manuscript Submission: Articles must be submitted using the Word template available for download on the journal's platform. Only original works that have not been previously published or are under consideration elsewhere will be accepted. All manuscripts will undergo double-blind peer review and must be submitted exclusively through the OJS (Open Journal System).

Submission Requirements:

  • The manuscript must be in DOC or DOCX format and follow the official template.

  • Author contribution statement (download the Word file from the platform).

  • Article originality statement.

  • Informed consent.

Types of Articles:

  • Research Articles: Must present significant advances in the educational field and be between 3,000 and 6,800 words. They follow a specific structure that includes an abstract, introduction, methodology, results, discussion, and conclusion.

  • Review Articles: Summaries of interdisciplinary advances offering new research proposals, with a length between 3,500 and 7,500 words.

Manuscript Format:

The manuscript must be submitted in DOCX format, using Times New Roman font size 12.

  • Abstract: Times New Roman, size 11.

  • Introduction, methodology, results, discussion, and conclusions: Times New Roman, size 12.

  • References: Times New Roman, size 11. Research articles must be between 3,000 and 6,800 words, and review articles must be between 3,500 and 7,500 words.

Abstract: A concise and clear abstract is required, which includes the objectives, main findings, and conclusions of the article. The abstract must be self-contained, without relying on the main text, and abbreviations should be explained the first time they appear.

Keywords: After the abstract, provide 3 to 4 keywords. It is recommended to avoid overly general terms or multiple concepts. These keywords will help with the article's indexing.

Article Structure: The manuscript should be organized into clear sections with specific titles. Subsections should have short titles and be properly aligned.

Reference Style: When submitting the manuscript, references should follow the APA 7th edition format. In-text citations must include the author's last name and publication year, and the references at the end of the manuscript should follow the detailed APA style, ensuring that all authors, titles, sources, and dates are correctly formatted.

Figures and Tables: These must be formatted following the guidelines in the provided DOCX template.

Manuscript Review: When manuscripts are returned for correction, authors must include a document detailing their responses to the reviewers' comments and the modifications made to the article.

Final Format:

  • The title and abstract must follow the provided template format.

  • Keywords: 3 to 4.

  • Article length: Between 3,000 and 6,500 words for research, and between 3,500 and 7,500 words for reviews, excluding references and the abstract.

  • References must be in an appropriate format for scientific journals.
